Pig Spear Trap (SAS Manual)

Source: youtube.com

Review and learning experience: 1. CAUTION: Take care when setting up the trap, I hid behind the tree, which can not be seen from the camera angle in this video. 2. The springy stave in this video was too weak to actually spear a pig, it has to be much stronger and be put up with more tension. 3. The trap was disassembled right after the video, this video was just for demonstration purposes. Warnhinweise: 1. You would DD, cuz we would all be looking for food when the stores are all closed, you could make a dozen of these all over where there is a park or river etc, even in town, mice and etc. (but I pray we don't ever have to see any days like that brother) take care I was thinking the same thing...maybe using a heavier branch, thicker rope to hold it and possibly a knife as one of the sticks that are supposed to stab the animal Ha ! As the camera was panning across the parts of the trap, I was imagining Wile E Coyote standing back with that devilish grin on his face like he was about to trap the Roadrunner!! Nice job, Lilly. Did you ever catch anything in it? Very cool! I recently made a bird net trap I saw in the SAS book and shot a vid on it. I noticed a key error in the book's diagram though.
